DATING

Eric Bancroft

Girls, guys, and God can often be the trifecta of youth group
relationships. But what happens when you move from thinking about cuteness and niceness to godliness and God’s glory as you assess dating? What if dating was not the means to address personal loneliness, social insecurity, or longing romance but instead to prepare you for a mature marriage that tells the world the truth about Jesus Christ and his church? Come to this workshop to be encouraged and challenged on how to think biblically about relationships with the opposite sex.

UNDERSTANDING OUR CRAZY WORLD

FOLLOW ME AS I FOLLOW CHRIST

Jeff Dalrymple

A disciple is a follower, a student, a learner. So, what do we as followers of Christ learn? We learn the ways of Jesus, which is a calling, a way of life. This discipleship is the pursuit of holiness and Christlikeness, according to the bible. Colossians 1:28 reads, “Him we proclaim warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone complete or mature in Christ.” The apostle Paul goes on to write: For this I toil struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me (v. 29). Learn more about the important topic of discipleship which every follower of Christ is called to be and to make (Matt. 28:19-20).

WHY LEADERSHIP MATTERS

Dan Dumas

From the beginning, becoming a bold leader is a part of God’s general and unique calling for each of us. You were born to lead. The consequences for lack of leadership, weak leadership and sloppy leadership are massive in the marketplace, home and church. I beg you today and every day hereafter to make leadership a priority. Contrary to the spirit of the age it’s not just something that a few elite young people are called to do, it is for all of us. It is time to feel, see and know why leadership matters to God and why it should matter to you.
